Two kids
from the same
classroom.
One studio built
in the small hours.
Ink N' Vector started where most good things do — between two friends who refused to stop making things together.
We've been building together since we were kids.
Sandakalum Dissanayake and Lakshini Wanigesinghe didn't meet at an agency. They met at school — when storyboards meant sketchbooks and brand decks meant homework traded back and forth in class. Years before either had a job title, they were collaborating on ideas, late-night experiments, projects nobody asked for.
Different paths followed. One into design and direction. The other into marketing and strategy. But the conversations never stopped. Every project either touched circled back to: what would we make if we just made it ourselves?
“We didn't start a studio. We just stopped pretending we weren't already running one.”FOUNDERS' NOTE / 01
No big launch. Just a brief that wouldn't let us sleep.
Ink N' Vector wasn't born in a meeting room. It was born around 3am, on a project that should have taken a week and took a month — because we kept rewriting, refusing to send anything we wouldn't put our names on. By the time we delivered, the client had already started telling others about us. The work made the studio.
Long nights. Small wins. The unglamorous bit nobody puts in the deck.
Most studios show the finished cut. Not the seventeen versions before. Not the 11pm reshoot because the light wasn't right, or the Sunday rewrite because the line landed flat. We've made peace with that. It's where the craft lives.
We've cut films in airport lounges. Approved logos at midnight. Sent decks on the way to weddings. Not because we romanticise hustle. But when work matters to a client, it matters to us at the same level.
“Good work happens in the hours nobody bills for.”STUDIO PRINCIPLE / 02

We mean business. And we treat yours like it.
Most agencies overpromise and underdeliver. We do the opposite. Every client gets this, signed into the SOW.
Turnaround in writing.
Every SOW specifies response time and delivery windows.
Your priority is the priority.
If it matters today, it's in our day too.
Faster than the agency average.
Most respond in days. We respond in hours.
Respect is the baseline.
Every client gets the same attention — Fortune 500 or founder-led launch.
We're not for everyone. And we're okay with that.
We work best with people who care about the craft as much as the outcome. Who want a partner, not a vendor. Who'd rather have one studio do it properly than six freelancers do it in pieces. If that sounds like you, we should probably talk.
